AAA Fuel Gauge reported the average price for fuel across the Anderson-Greenville-Spartanburg area rose to $3.50 a gallon from $3.47 on Sunday.
The price of regular gas hit $3.50 a gallon across the Upstate Monday.
AAA Fuel Gauge reported the average price for fuel across the Anderson-Greenville-Spartanburg area rose to $3.50 a gallon from $3.47 on Sunday.
That price is up 19 cents in a week and is higher by 36 cents a gallon in the past month.
AAA reports gas prices hit $3.71 a gallon Monday morning in Asheville.
Oil analyst Patrick DeHaan, with GasBuddy.com, says the reason, as usual, is the rising price of oil.
DeHaan says he's surprised to see the price jump so high in February when demand is normally low, and he's now concerned about what might happen next month.
MOST OF THE NATION WILL BE PAYING OVER $ 4 GALLON VERY SHORTLY !!
